Blessing of the Animals
October 3 - October 4
Celebrate your beloved pets at the Blessing of the Animals! Bring your furry, feathered, or finned companions to Our Lady of the Seas in Buxton (Oct 3 & 4) or Stella Maris on Ocracoke (Oct 4) following Mass to receive a special blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. They will be collecting donations for the Outer Banks SPCA and HI Food Pantry. Please consider bringing pet food, treats, toys, or towels to donate!
